I was pleasantly surprised by the room size, which was bigger than I expected, and its proximity to the Old Town. The early check-in at 2 pm, though official check-in was at 2:30 pm, was convenient. The room was exceptionally clean, making my stay comfortable.

My stay at the hotel was a mixture of positives and negatives. The rooms were equipped with everything one would need but felt extremely tiny, the bed was uncomfortable, the WiFi reception was poor, and there were some amenities left from previous guests. The service, on the other hand, was exceptional with the onsite staff being gregariously friendly and very helpful. The location couldn't be better for exploring the old city, although there were some minor issues with the check-in process. The dining experience, while included, left much to be desired with limited options available.

I found the hotel to be tucked away in a beautiful quiet corner of the town yet just a short walk to the hustle and bustle of the old town. The rooms had a great view exactly as pictured, although on the small side, which is the only reason I gave four stars instead of 5. However, they made weird noises that we couldn’t figure out, perhaps the water boiler.

The host was a very friendly guy, living onsite, and gregariously friendly and helpful. He even went above and beyond to assist us during the Croatia Air strike-related situation, showing exceptional hospitality. His sweet little dog added a charming touch to the stay.

The location is excellent, being a short walk outside the city gates where it's less crowded with tourists. Additionally, there are good swimming spots around the corner to the north which added to the charm of the area.
